Sonic CD - Getting Hot Feetby =EUAN-THE-ECHIDHOG

Well, here is my entry to the Sonic CD Fan Art contest. (Which I am one of the top 50 winners. Yay!)

This is the boss fight on the good future of Quartz Quadrant, with the machine that Eggman is on is wearing down and producing alot of heat for him XD

Was a lil tricky to think what to draw for this contest, as I didn't want to do Sonic vs Metal Sonic race as not only had I drawn that before, but I believed alot of people would draw that moment as well, so decided to work on something humourous and here it is.

I decided to make a 3D background for the pic. Though it was a cool idea at first, the end result doesn't look as great. But since there wasn't much in the way of textures in the actual game, so its still pretty close to the original. Had trouble creating a motion blurr for the tread mill, so the result you see is the best I could do on it.

Also Metal Sonic is in the background. Though he never appeared in the background, I wanted to include him as a hologram harming the animals.

I'll soon be uploading Eggman and Metal Sonic pics here soon so you can see alot better. Hope you all like it.

Almost every classic Sonic game seemed to have at least one boss were you don't really need to do anything because the boss defeats itself.

That battle was always kind of amusing to me, but now that I have the option of "Work That Sucker To Death" in the battle, it's almost like Robotnik's trying to make Sonic work himself out to death, but Sonic's gonna work out Robotnik's machine to death! (...It makes sense to me!)
